Flannel is one of those beginner fabrics that I always like to recommend because you can do a lot with it in terms of crafts and casual garments and it's also fairly easy to work with. But this soft and cuddly fabric isn't perfect as there can be some annoying things about it. This fabric can both shrink and fray a lot due its fabric content which is usually cotton. But if can you get around these two things, you can make baby quilts, pajamas, and those typical flannel shirts that we all know and love. Flannel can come in solid colors, cute prints, and the stereotypical plaids so you can really do a lot with them. Our video goes over what you should know about flannel and how to make the most out of it.
