Learning to do a buttonhole on a sewing machine may sound a bit daunting but the trick is using the right presser foot and then knowing your machine well enough to know how to create the sides and ends of a buttonhole. Buttonholes, though, give that extra bit of professionalism to your item so it's well worth knowing how to do it. Not only do you want to learn how to create a buttonhole but learn how big to make them and how to cut them open.
