Eloflex Thread Giveaway

This Giveaway is over.  Congratulations to Carol from Indiana

Coats & Clark gave us some thread from their new line, Eloflex.  This is a stretchable thread and we have an extra set for one lucky person.  This thread is different than traditional elastic thread in that it looks similar to regular thread and you can thread it in the top and bobbin area of your machine, just treat it like normal thread.  If you pull on it, it does have a slight stretch so you can sew your knit seams with a straight stitch instead of a zigzag stitch.  If you want to enter our giveaway, leave a comment below and let us know what type of project you'd love to use this thread on.  We'll pick a winner at random on September 19, 2017.  Enter now before it's too late!

This is so cool — what a great idea to sew stretchy fabric with stretchy thread! I’d love to make a few more knit pencil skirts for my work wardrobe using this thread.

What a wonderful idea for thread. I sew on many different types of fabric and this would be wonderful to use. Thank you so much.

@tlcmathis to comment at all you have to be logged in, which you were. I am assuming you were clicking on the registration link. You are already registered because you were logged in, no need to click on the registration link, that is for people that do not have accounts. You can just leave your comment as normal when you are logged in.

Stretchy thread…….. that looks IDEAL for sewing lingerie!!!

But also for so many more sewing, not only knits, but all “difficult to handle” and “slippery” fabrics, special embroidery, etc. etc.
    I would love to try!!!

    Hardly can’t wait.

I love the colors of the tread and the fact that is stretches will make awesome children’s garment’s. Can the thread be wound in a bobbin. Love the skirt. Wish I was small enuf to wear one still.

Good morning from NH! I would love the chance to win this stretchy thread! I think this thread would help Barbie & other doll clothes fit their slightly different body sizes better! Thanks for the opportunity!

I must be confused. I click the link above and it takes me to the sign up for pateron page. I log in and see the link in there and it takes me back to PP.com….and it just keeps me going in circles. Am I the only one experiencing this?
