Type of interfacing is really dependent on the fabric and the care instructions associated with that fabric. For something like vinyl, you typically can’t use heat, like a hot iron, needed for fusible interfacing. In this case, you’re best bet is mid to heavy weight sew in interfacing, but if the fabric is stiff enough, you might be able to skip the interfacing altogether. Hope that helps.
