    I have a size 14 pants pattern that needs to be increased to size 16. How should I do it? I don’t think the pivot method would be appropriate. What are your thoughts?

    What you want to do is called pattern grading. We don’t have a tutorial on this but I would check this out on Threads: http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4368/making-sense-of-pattern-grading/page/all The pivot method will just increase one portion, while pattern grading is increasing (or decreasing) the whole pattern. good luck!
