    My husband bought me a backless halter dress for my birthday. It’s pretty but it needs help. It’s a super stretchy knit that is also very thin. I need to line it with something that will provide support. I would also like to add bra cups. Can you give me advice as to fabric that might work?

    Hmmm….I think another stretchy fabric can be used as a lining and then sewing the bra cups directly to the lining might look the nicest. You’d have to make a duplicate halter out of the lining and then I would hand sew the edges of the lining to the back of your main fabric. This isn’t a halter top style but it might give you an idea on how you can do it. http://daughterfish.com/?p=3228
