Yup, you can definitely do that. Tape your front pattern to a sheet of paper. At the beginning of the neckline curve (at the center front of the pattern), make a mark up at the measurement you want to bring up the neckline. Then just draw a new neck curve, blending back to the original line before you get to the shoulder seam. If it’s easier, after you make you’re new mark, slide your pattern up to meet it and then use the current neckline as your guideline to at least draw most of the neckline. When you finish you can just move your pattern back and cut out the paper on the new neckline. Definitely make a quick muslin to test it before using more expensive fabric. Good luck!
