    My friend asked me to repair her tattered curtains. She said they don’t have to have a scalloped edge which they now do. Please advise. I could send you a photo if that would be okay. Thank you.

    oh goodness! sorry, it took me so long to reply. I’m still catching up from all the holiday business. If it were me and she didn’t care about the type of hemline, I’d just rotary cut a new straight edge and then do a double hem. It’s simple and will probably make the hem last a little longer.
