    Hello,

    I have a cloak pattern but I do not like any of the hoods that go with it. I am wanting to make your hood for my cloak but want to be sure that I adjust the neckline correctly. I was going to adjust the back seam and curve but, do I still use the same measurements as your hood? Mine will be 9″ compared to yours that is 10″. This is my first time attempting a cloak and I am an amateur fumbling through another costume project to bring my child joy.

    whatever the neckline measurement is for the top of the cloak, would be the neckline measurement for the bottom of the hood. That’s the only one you have to worry about. The height and depth of the hood can be whatever you want really.
