    I’ve bought a pattern from BurdaStyle, printed it out, taped the pages together. The pattern does not include seam allowances. How can I do a good job of getting a 5/8″ seam allowance marked on my fabric? This pattern is for a men’s shirt, and I want to have it look right. Thanks.

    Here’s a trick I’ve heard of but haven’t tried. I think it would work pretty good. You can just add your own paper spacers until the distance is 5/8″. http://www.fivegreenacres.com/2010/02/16/tools-of-the-trade-add-a-seam-allowance/ good luck!
