    I would like to have the option to detach the sleeves. I am thinking about using snap tape which I think will be hidden by the flanges on the sleeves.

    sorry for the delay. 🙁 I missed noticing this post. But I agree that snap tape is a great solution. If it’s too noticeable, you can use individual snaps and hand sew them into place.
