So my jean jacket is too big, around the shoulders and chest mostly, part of the jacket at the chest area puffs out a lot when I sit. help…

You can sew the shoulder and side seams to increase the size of the seams to make it more fitted but you might have to remove the sleeves and adjust those as well. This is one of the those things that there’s not one quick fix, but rather you need to experiment, pin and baste until you get the fit you like better. You might also want to take it to a dry cleaner that does alterations and see if they have suggestions on what they would do. Them looking at it in person might be a more helpful guide.
