im drafting a pattern to make a jean for my wife. working through your premium video making pants, getting all her correct measurements. my question is how can I eliminate the darts and still have hip and waist fit?

I answered you on the basic pants pattern page but it doesn’t sound like you got my answer. This is what I said: You can definitely remove the darts. You can close them up and then redraw the pattern with the darts closed.
