hello, sorry for the delay in response. I’ve been on vacation and still getting back into the swing of things. I imagine that you have a center front and then side front pattern in order to get the princess seams for the bodice. What I would do is make a copy of the side front pattern so you can do alterations to one side, left side, and then do separate alterations to the other side front pattern, the right side. Be sure to label your pattern and your fabric pieces so you can keep them all straight. If you have 1 pattern for the back bodice (usually it’s half of the back and placed on the fold) I’d go ahead and make a new back pattern that’s a full back. You can place it on a folded piece of pattern paper, placing the fold line of the pattern on the folded edge of your paper, then trace it and cut it out. When you unfold the paper, you’ll have a full back pattern and can make adjustments to the left side separately if you need to. Definitely, make a quick muslin of your bodice so you can test it and make adjustments if necessary. good luck!
