prep of cotton gauze fabric before sewing

what is the best way to prep cotton gauze? I have washed and dried it to shrink it. should I wash it again and line dry it to remove the crinkles or should I dry iron it?

Did you get something like this? http://www.joann.com/sew-classic-specialty-cotton-solid-gauze-many-colors/xprd810632/ If so, the crinkles in it is part of the look and gives the fabric added texture. If you would rather not have crinkles, I guess just use an iron. The care directions say to use a cool iron so I imagine using a hot iron will remove the crinkles in it.
