Alright, Well I’m working on this costume for a comic convention and the character ‘the shrouded man’ as in the picture. Well I’m hot natured and have a tendancy to get over heated so I was wondering if someone knew of a fabric that I could use that would be light weight, breathable and for the most part could be worn comfortably on a hot day and affordable. I’d prefer it be solid and not see threw. Especially since to get the luminescent effect from the contacts I’m planning to if I can rig it right sew in a small backlight that could make them glow http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080524192429/buffy/images/f/f4/Mage02.jpg
I’d appreciate any advice that could be given on the subject

Hi there, that’s an awesome costume! If you have a JoAnn’s near you, check out their collection of silky fabrics. This is like a faux silk fabric that’s synthetic fabric but it’s extremely light weight and I think it’ll give you that beautiful draping that’s in the shroud. If you have trouble finding it in the store, ask an employee for the location of the polyester silky fabrics in solid colors. They’re usually grouped together on their own shelf. Please post a pic when you finish your costume 🙂

I just remembered. I think it’s call Silk Essence.
