I am a pattern size 30W (52-46-60 measurements) and want to know how to size up entire patterns that may go only up to size 22 or 24. Some of them I would need to size up as much as 6-8″. Would that be too much and distort the whole pattern if I did that, or would there be a good way to go about it? Thank you!

Hi there, what you want is called pattern grading. Unfortunately, we don’t have a tutorial on this yet. (I hope to have one in the future) Here is a good article on Threads about it so I hope it helps: http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4368/making-sense-of-pattern-grading/page/all
