Sleeve width alteration

Hi there,

Thank you so much for your video on increasing the width on a sleeve pattern. I am sewing the Elisalex and while altering the sleeve it ended looking strange (please see picture attached). I added your recommended maximum of 1 in each side. How do I proceed?

Hi there, Are you referring to the cap of the sleeve and that indentation? If I were you, I would just free-hand round out the top. You don’t need the pattern for this, just draw a blended, smooth curve so that the top of the sleeve looks like the original. 🙂
