    I’ve sewn 2 sock monkies and each sock has run in the crotch. I’m using the classic red heel sock. The run, similar to a run in pantyhose, makes it

    Difficult to stitch the crotch. What do you think I may be doing wrong or is this common?

    That happens to me too no matter how careful I am, so you’re not doing anything wrong.  I just make sure that I do stitches on each side of the run, pulling the sides of the run together so it’ll hide the run and prevent it from spreading further.  After I do this, it’s definitely not very noticeable and I do this after sewing the crotch area.
