Zipper pouch tutorial

I don’t understand how to make the zipper work in this tutorial. It looks like she took one side of a zipper and turned it in half?

Any clarification is appreciated!

That’s what it looks like to me as well, but I’ve never tried this before so I don’t know if it actually works like that. Maybe just buy a cheap zipper, use pliers or wire cutters to remove the stopper and top so you can separate the zipper and take off the tab and then experiment to see if it works before sewing it to your fabric. Please let me know what happens 🙂
