Is the only thing stopping your skirt from being perfect is it's missing pockets? You can make it more perfect yourself by adding pockets to them. I don't know about you, but having usable pockets in a skirt or dress feels like striking a gold mine because there are times you want to carry something small without having to bring a separate accessory to hold it or carry it in your hand. Using an existing pattern or making your own can be an easy solution in order to insert pockets into your side seams. Create pockets as large or as small as you want. This works best on skirts that have a looser fit, rather than on a tight garment. There's no reason to settle for a less than perfect garment when you know how to sew.
