I love traveling but I'm not really much of a packer. For one thing, I'm the type to just toss my shoes in a plastic bag and not think much more about them. But don't they deserve more than this? The answer is yes, of course they do. This is why I designed the chic shoebag.
It's sophisticated, handy and way better than the plastic bag. With my bag, you'll keep those special shoes tucked away all safe and sound, until they're ready to come out of the suitcase.
This bag is lined to give it a little extra stability and has a ribbon closure. It would also be really easy to add a handle to this bag, if you plan on carrying it around on it's own.
To create the heart heel, I used a really fun technique called freezer paper stenciling and fabric paint. It's a little time consuming but I love the results. It's a great way to embellish a project and pretty easy to be creative with it. I'm sure that once you'll try it, you won't stop at the shoebag and will want to try it on other fabric. In our chic shoe bag tutorial, I show you to recreate the freezer paper stencil technique so that you can easily master it.
Lets leave those plastic bags for dirty laundry and keep our fancy heels out of them.

Great stuff!!
I think the shoe bag has many other uses as well! I am inspired to make a purse bag with a cute purse embellished on the outside as well!!!! I really learned a lot after watching the video on shoe bags! I will never use freezer paper for its intended purpose again!
