When sewing garments, sooner or later, you're going to be asked to create a dart. A dart is usually sewn at the bottom of a bodice or the top of a skirt or pants. It helps the garment become more trim and form fitting to your body. In order to create a dart, you're basically pinching the middle of your fabric piece together and then sewing along one side.
