Quilt tops and other projects that utilize hexagon fabric pieces can be really neat to look at. They can be modern and beautiful, but how is it done? And can it be done by a sewing machine? While it's commonly done by hand through the use of paper piecing, it can also be done by machine and this video shows you how. It is a little tricky though so it should not be attempted by people who don't have a lot of sewing experience and it's still time consuming. But if you get it right, the end results will turn out fantastic. This video shows how to prep your hexagons, sewing them together on your sewing machine and then how to sew a border to your edges so it's easier to bind your quilt top.
