Lapped Zipper

Lapped ZipperZippers always seem really scary to beginners but once you've gone through the process, you'll see it's never as bad as you think. The cool thing is that there are actually different methods and styles for inserting zippers. For example, if you want to put in a zipper in your project but don't want it to show, the lapped zipper method is for you.  With a flap of fabric lapping over the zipper, this gives your project a cleaner look but without needing to use an invisible zipper.  The nice thing about this method is that it's as easy to install as the centered application zipper. This video will take you from beginning to end so you won't have to feel intimidated by the process.

The tutorial was very easy to understand. As a result, I finished my first sewing project today. 🙂 I’m so elated (see pictures I posted).
