I admit that I tend to avoid large prints for my projects. With busy tiny prints, I don't have to worry about whether or not my seams are lined up. But sometimes you come across a large print that you really like and want to use. Is matching print designs really that hard? It actually isn't! That's the good news. The not-so-great news is that it requires careful consideration and patience. I definitely don't recommend trying to match prints when you're tired and in a rush. You also need to realize that because you're working off the design, instead of trying to squeeze your pattern in the smallest amount of fabric possible, you will need extra fabric. If you're nervous about it, definitely practice first. But with time, you'll learn that it's not as bad as you think and you can do it. Trust me, when you look at the seams and the design perfectly flows, you'll be so happy you took the effort to do it right.
