Looking for an easy, quick top to make for summer? If so, then McCall's 6751 is for you! So easy that it only has 2 pieces. So quick, it'll be finished before you know it. The thing I like best about this top is that it can be made in either knit or woven fabrics so you have an unlimited number of different fabrics to use.
This loose-fitting, pullover tank can be made casual, as a cute top for a walk on the beach, or can be made with a nicer fabric for a more sophisticated look. You can see that I even took this top in a completely different direction and it was the perfect top to complete a 1920's look with my flapper style skirt.
They also give you the option of finishing the neckline and armholes with either a narrow hem or with bias tape. In this demonstration, I decided to go with the bias tape and am happy with the results because it really does give it a professional look and it was so easy to do.
