There's a new baby in town and you want to make them something special. How about making them a handmade baby onesie? How fun would it be to be able to choose your own fabric. Plus, this project is quick and easy. After you finish, you'll be inspired to make another, because a newborn can't have too many new onesies. Along with our step by step tutorial, we also provide you with a free pattern. Please note, the size of this pattern is newborn but you can always adjust it for other sizes as well. Also, be sure to use knit fabric as it's important to be stretchy and that you prewash your fabric before cutting out your fabric. Where can you buy nurse knit
it’s nursery knit
What kind of fabric that you use?
The tutorial is just for the newborn, but you can try and scale the pattern up. It will be trial and error.
Do you have any tips on how to make these larger? I just made the newborn and its adorable!! Now I want to try a size larger 🙂
I loved the video tutorial. It is simple and you explain everything you are doing especially for us newbie sewers. Do you have any tips or “how to’s” to make different sizes of the onsie pattern ? I would like to make different sizes for my son. He was 10 lbs so he didn’t fit into the newborn size. Thanks
I love this pattern. Because I love to monogram onsies, this makes it SOOOOO much easier to monogram before I sew the side seams together! Great pattern. Do you have larger size onsie patterns ot any tips on enlarging a pattern to make onsies for older babies? Also loved your tutorial. Very good instructions and clear shots to go step by step. Thank you.
Thank’s for letting me know, however, we don’t have that store here. I have ordered one from the US. cheers
yay! that’s so awesome 😀
