There's a new baby in town and you want to make them something special. How about making them a handmade baby onesie? How fun would it be to be able to choose your own fabric. Plus, this project is quick and easy. After you finish, you'll be inspired to make another, because a newborn can't have too many new onesies. Along with our step by step tutorial, we also provide you with a free pattern. Please note, the size of this pattern is newborn but you can always adjust it for other sizes as well. Also, be sure to use knit fabric as it's important to be stretchy and that you prewash your fabric before cutting out your fabric. For an extra professional looking detail, we show you how to add individual snaps. Are you ready to make a newborn baby onesie now? Let's do it!

I have the same question as Nanaellie….
I have always wanted to make a onesie. Glad I came across this tutorial. Thank you for the pattern as well.
Can you tell me how much to add to the pattern to make it for 18 month old
as noted in the blog text, it is considered “newborn” size. You may scale it if you wish to experiment on your own.
What approximate baby size does this make?
Our tutorials are only in video format. No written tutorials exist, sorry
Is there a WRITTEN TUTORIAL for this project? Very nice and easy to make–but sometimes my computer is not available–would like to have access in written form. thanks for all your videos.
Cute and easy. Instructions presented were easy to follow. Would love to increase size of pattern so I can make additional garments as the baby grows.
Thank you for a great pattern.
I don’t understand this question, what is invalid? are you talking about the pattern or just the actual image we show of the onesie?
my computer is saying that there is an invalid image
