A couple years ago, I received a pair of pajama pants as a gift and I loved the piping detail above the hem.  Pajama pants can be a really simple project, with many beginners doing it as their first project.  It doesn't have to stay simple and one way to give it a more sophisticated look is demonstrated in this tutorial.  I show you how to take a regular pajama pant pattern and alter it to give cuffs.  In between the seam is some tiny piping.  This unique detail can offer you some more ways to let those pajama pants stand out.  The piped hem doesn't have to be relegated just to pajama pants.  You can also do this for sleeves or anywhere you have a hem.  Try the piped hem today!
