Making a costume or dress and want sleeves befitting a princess. The puff sleeve can be short or long, but the steps in creating one are similar. In my demonstration I'll be showing you a short sleeve, that has a significant puff style and has a stretchy hemline due to the elastic inserted into a casing. The results are elegant and can really make your garment pop. While inserting the sleeve is similar to a regular inset version, realize that the sleeve cap will likely be more gathered, instead of just eased, and this is fine. This allows the puff sleeve to look fuller instead of fitted. But it's still very much a beginner-friendly sleeve to conquer and if you follow this tutorial, you'll achieve it in a snap.
