When I think of rickrack, I always think of craft projects from the 1950's, but this trim has been around for a long time. Just because its use seems to be more kitschy these days, doesn't mean there isn't a lot of creative ways you can use it for embellishing your projects or costumes. Rickrack can be found in any fabric store and it comes in different widths and colors. You can either purchase it by the yard or prepackaged. This video will show you the basic way to sew it on to fabric but also provide other different ways to use it as well, hopefully, inspiring you to consider giving this vintage trim another look.
