It's amazing how you can take a basic block, like our skirt block, and create so many additional details from them.  One truly becomes a designer and all the possible options become inspiring.  In this tutorial, we show you how to create a skirt yoke pattern, using our basic skirt block.  From one block, you'll end up with two pattern pieces for each side.  We also show you some different techniques for removing darts from your pattern.  The style of this yoke is circular but you can easily create other shapes to suit your aesthetic.  Creating a yoke pattern for a skirt has never been easier and we'll guide you every step of the way.
