Need help in putting together your welt pocket?  We're here to help.  The welt pocket can be found in pants, vests and jackets.  Because it's a pocket, it's a functional element of your garment but it's also a decorative aspect as well.   On the right side you'll have a sleek look of just the strip of fabric, known as the welt, covering the opening of the pocket.  On the inside of the garment, two pieces make up the pocket.  If you think this process is complicating, don't stress, because it's actually easier than you think.
